SYOIN KAJII
Born in 1976 in Niigata, Japan.Syoin Kajii graduated from Koyasan University in 1999 after training at Mount Koya from 1995 to 1999.In 2004, he received the 1st FOIL Award for his photographic series of waves on Sado Island and published the photo book NAMI (Little More), which was awarded the 2005 New Photographer Award by the Photographic Society of Japan.He currently lives on Sado Island, working as both a Shingon Buddhist monk and a photographer.
